Information & Communication Mini-Symposium
on Computational Optimization
May 19-23, 2008

As part of an effort to define new growth directions in the general area of Information and Communication, the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering of ETH Zurich is organizing a mini-symposium during the week of May 19-23, 2008, on the general theme of computational optimization. Several leading researchers whose work touches upon this subject from a variety of perspectives (information theory, networks, signal processing, vision and automatic control) have been invited to present their research and discuss their insights into this area.
